Ara Tchaghlassian
Ara Tchaghlassian is the Founder and President of Avant Real Estate and AVAT Construction & Development, where he oversees the company’s real estate investment, development, ownership, and property management activities.
A graduate of California State University, Long Beach with a degree in Civil Engineering, Ara has built a successful career as an entrepreneur, business owner, and real estate investor. Over the course of his career, he founded and grew American Tire Depot into one of California’s largest independent tire and automotive service retailers, expanding the company to more than 100 locations before its sale to a private equity firm in 2021.
Drawing on decades of experience in site selection, acquisitions, development, operations, and business growth, Ara has assembled a diverse portfolio of commercial and residential real estate assets throughout California. Today, he leads Avant Real Estate’s efforts in acquiring, developing, owning, and managing properties while pursuing new opportunities that create long-term value for tenants, investors, and the communities they serve.
